The Chemistry Group works with many of world’s biggest organisations. We help them shift their business performance to new levels through understanding what they need in their people and how to find and develop them.

The Business Psychologist is accountable for helping our clients understand What Great Looks Like (WGLL™) for critical roles, and how they can find and develop the people they need who will be brilliant in their business.

You will be part of a team of Business Psychologists who work in small cross-functional teams to deliver client work. You and your team are the science experts in the work we do, and you will continuously display the key behaviours needed to be brilliant – to work successfully with clients and produce amazing analysis.

You will get to spend time working on client projects - for some of the world’s biggest brands to deliver fundamental change in their business performance.

Requirements

Key Requirements

Design recruitment assessment materials (psychometric assessments, interview questions/guides, situational judgement tests, etc.)

Derive insight and make recommendations to our delivery team, based on analysis of data.

Conduct role observations and interviews of role-incumbents to inform client solutions.

Identify areas for improvement in current assessment and development tools/methods and design/implement new approaches.

Stay up to date with industry trends through continuous research.

Provide an expert and client-focused perspective based on the newest and most valid research/methods.

Provide support to colleagues in all aspects of role.


Person Specification

Minimum MSc. in Occupational Psychology or related field.

Proficiency using Excel and SPSS/R for data analysis.

Comfortable with a range of statistical methods (e.g., inferential statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, linear modelling).

Familiarity with Psychometric test administration, Job Analysis methods, and Situational Judgement Test creation.

Ability to research, analyse information and provide workable solutions clients.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and communicate effectively.

Experience of working effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.

Be willing to travel both in the UK and internationally.

Right to work in the UK.
